In short: Sweep Cleaner has no user accounts and collects no personal data. All scanning of your photos, videos, and contacts happens entirely on your iPhone. Nothing — no media, no contacts, no analytics — is ever uploaded to us or to any third party. We do not use any analytics or advertising SDKs.
Sweep Cleaner ("Sweep Cleaner", "the app", "we", "us") is developed and published by Beijing Rixuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
We do not collect any personal data. Sweep Cleaner has no servers that receive your information, no user accounts, and no login. Specifically:
To do its job, Sweep Cleaner asks your permission to access your photo library (to find duplicate, similar, and large photos and videos, and to compress videos or convert Live Photos) and, optionally, your contacts (to find duplicate or incomplete contacts).
This access is used only on your device, in real time, to show you results. The contents of your library and contacts are never copied off your device. You grant these permissions through the standard iOS system prompts, and you can revoke them at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your iPhone.
All processing happens locally on your iPhone. Sweep Cleaner uses on-device machine learning (Apple's Vision framework) and on-device algorithms to detect duplicate and similar content. No data leaves your device for this analysis, and no results are sent to us.
When you choose to delete photos, compress a video, convert a Live Photo, or merge contacts, those actions are carried out directly through Apple's system frameworks on your device, under your confirmation.
Sweep Cleaner does not maintain a database of your files. Any preferences or settings you configure (such as your selected language) are stored locally in the app's sandboxed storage on your device and are never shared.
The only third party involved is Apple. Sweep Cleaner uses Apple's App Store and StoreKit to offer and manage optional subscriptions. When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled by Apple, and Apple's Privacy Policy applies to that transaction. We never receive your payment details.
We do not integrate Google Firebase, Facebook SDK, advertising networks, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service.
Sweep Cleaner offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Sweep Pro) that unlock unlimited cleanup, video compression, and other premium features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Payment, billing, renewal, and cancellation are all managed by Apple; you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. We do not have access to your financial information.
Sweep Cleaner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, there is no children's data for us to receive or process.
Since all app data is stored only on your device, you remain in full control. You can revoke photo or contact permissions at any time in iOS Settings, and deleting the app removes all of its local settings from your device. Because we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for you to request, export, or have us delete from our side.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
